Deployment Layer
OLTA is initially deployed on Base, the Ethereum Layer-2 developed by Coinbase.
This network combines scalability, low fees, and a compliance-oriented infrastructure including SOC 2 certification and native fiat on/off-ramps via Coinbase. Base offers a secure and auditable environment aligned with institutional standards, while maintaining full EVM compatibility for smart contract deployment. However, OLTA is designed from the ground up to be multichain.
Why Start on Base?
Base offers OLTA a robust, low-cost, and scalable Layer‑2 environment with strong trust anchors:
SOC 2 Type 2 certified infrastructure, reflecting high standards in security, availability, and processing integrity.
Compliance-oriented roadmap, with public statements from Coinbase leadership highlighting plans for AML transaction monitoring at the network level.
Efficient fiat on/off-ramp integration and compatibility with Coinbase’s broader custody ecosystem.
Full EVM equivalence, allowing deployment of audited smart contracts accross multiple eth layer-2 blockchain without modification.
These characteristics make Base a natural settlement layer for OLTA's structured index logic, ensuring:
Transparent and cost-efficient execution
Easier auditability and integration for institutional partners
Alignment with evolving regulatory expectations
By anchoring to a Layer‑2 developed by a regulated US entity, OLTA gains a foundation that balances scalability, security, and institutional confidence.
Expanding Multichain
OLTA will expand to multiple EVM-compatible chains to meet user demand and optimize index operations. Supported networks include:
Arbitrum
Ethereum Mainnet
Polygon
Binance Smart Chain (BSC)
Linea
Optimism
Hyperliquid
Each chain is selected based on user adption, ecosystem relevance, and institutional compatibility.
Simplified Multichain Entry
To preserve the user experience, OLTA accepts native gas tokens (e.g., ETH, MATIC, BNB) for initial deposits. These tokens are automatically converted to USDC before being allocated to index assets.
Entry fees are dynamic, and account for network gas costs
This ensures predictable onboarding while preserving NAV integrity
Exploring Layer-1 Partnerships
Beyond EVM Layer-2s, OLTA will explore strategic partnerships with Proof-of-Stake and Bitcoin Layer-1 providers. This approach combines the sustainability and efficiency of PoS networks with the institutional appeal of Bitcoin’s security model, offering diversified settlement layers and reinforcing long-term adoption.
