# What is Olta?

Olta Finance delivers disciplined exposure to digital assets through a **rules based, USDC native indexing protocol**. Capital is deposited onchain and converted into index units by audited protocol, blending the resilience of traditional index design with the transparency and operational efficiency of programmable finance.

Each deposit is automatically converted into index units, while audited smart contracts enforce portfolio rules and publish live fund metrics to the integrated dashboard. The result is a transparent, low-friction gateway to digital-asset indexing that meets institutional compliance standards yet stays within reach of informed retail investors.
